A MESSAGE FROM OUR PRO

I built this golf platform because of personal experiences over the years. Club and charity event participation had been dropping. Golfers were watching golf tips on the internet or on TV and listening to tips that might not even relate to them. Golfers were telling me that they found our facility on a rating site and most of the information was wrong. So many of the golf sites were diminishing the value of all the facilities, by promoting dirt cheap prices. I just thought to myself, this is not good for the future of the golf business and for the future of the PGA Professionals.

With social media becoming the norm and the golf world trying to keep up, it was difficult to create and manage social media while running the golf facility. This is why I built a social platform for the PGA Professional—where all the content could easily be shared with multiple social media areas, with a focus on the local golf community.

On PlayLocalGolf, the golfers can search for events and use detailed filtration options that will narrow their search to exactly what they are looking for. Golfers now have a place to search for golf instructional tips, and best of all, they can actually get a lesson from that professional, because they are local. All the golfer has to do is look and see if there are any golf schools or clinics offered.

Facilities have their personal details page where they can showcase their facility and all it has to offer. Users can find club amenities, events, professionals and membership drives. Best of all, the facilities can always direct the user to their official websites whenever they want.

My goal with PlayLocalGolf is to provide a social networking platform that promotes the golf facility and the PGA Professionals in their local golfing community.
